We are proud to announce the latest addition to our line up, pop supergroup ‘STEPS’. Steps achieved a series of charting singles between 1997 and 2001 including two number-one singles, two number-one albums, 14 consecutive top 5 singles and a string of hits throughout Europe. The group reformed on 1 January 2017 in celebration of their 20th anniversary, and later announced their fifth studio album Tears on the Dancefloor, which was released in April 2017 and now in 2018 on Friday 20th July, STEPS will be performing at Geordie Moor.
Jessie J boasts an impressive string of top ten hits including Price Tag, Domino, Nobody’s Perfect and Bang Bang – which she collaborated on with Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj and which went multi-platinum worldwide. And she will be joined on the stage by pop starlet, Nadine Coyle, known for her successful music career as one fifth of girl group Girls Aloud, as well as her solo singles Insatiable, Go to Work and Girls on Fire.
Nadine Coyle rose to fame in the early 2000s as a member of the girl group Girls Aloud. With Girls Aloud, Nadine Coyle has been successful in achieving a string of 20 consecutive UK top ten singles (including four number ones), two UK number one albums, and received nominations for five BRIT Awards, winning Best Single in 2009 for “The Promise”.
The Vengaboys enjoyed commercial success in the late 1990s. They are best known for their hit singles “We Like to Party”, “Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!!” and “We’re Going to Ibiza” the latter two of which topped the charts. They have sold an estimated 25 million records worldwide. At the World Music Awards awarded Vengaboys have been awarded best-selling dance group.
You may know Miss Moneypenny’s as a house music party club in Birmingham, but Miss Moneypenny’s, which styles itself as “The World’s Most Glamorous Clubbing Brand”, has been throwing parties and events throughout the world since the 1990s. The group has been regularly featured on BBC Radio 1, in various DJ magazines, and has been voted a top UK dance band, renowned for their flamboyance, music, and costumed dancers.
After years of taking the Newcastle scene by storm and as the face of ‘Northern Pride’ hosting the summer festival in-front of a crowd of 16,000 and having worked along side some of the biggest names in pop including Basshunter, the Vengaboys, all of the X Factor finalists from the past 3 years and many more, we are proud to welcome her to Geordie Moor!
